Agefield High School Legends Ending: How to Unlock It
✔ Last checked: 2026-08-30
Ask three Agefield High: Rock the School walkthroughs how to get the good ending — the finale players call “School Legends”, where Sam, Kale, and Axel take over the prom stage and the jocks get humiliated — and you will get three different checklists. One says keep a C GPA and stay under three arrests. Another says GPA 2.5+, half your classes attended, and all 15 side activities. A third says 10 side activities and a clean rhythm performance.
They cannot all be right. This guide lays out every reported requirement, marks what is actually verifiable against the Steam achievement list, and gives you a safe checklist that covers all versions — so you get the legend finale no matter which conditions turn out to be real.
The two outcomes players report
Community walkthroughs consistently describe two narrative outcomes for prom night:
- School Legends (good ending): The prom plan works. The trio takes the stage, the jocks are embarrassed in front of the school, Sam gets the girl, and the Rock the School plan pays off as pure early-2000s teen-comedy wish fulfillment.
- Crash and Burn (bad ending): The setup collapses. Sam’s date rejects him, Principal Carpenter catches him, Sam is expelled, and Kale and Axel are left holding the fallout.
Both outcomes are reported by multiple independent walkthroughs, so the good/bad split at prom appears real. What is disputed is what causes it.
Reported requirements, compared
| Requirement | Source A | Source B | Achievement-verified? |
|---|---|---|---|
| GPA threshold | C or higher | 2.5 or higher | No — no GPA achievement exists |
| Class attendance | “Don’t constantly skip” | At least 50% of weekdays | No |
| Side activities | Complete key ones | All 15 (or 10 in another guide) | Only for the “Hard worker” 100% achievement — not tied to an ending |
| Romance | Ask your date successfully | Supportive dialogue all year | Partially — prom date choice is the confirmed branch |
| Arrests / heat | 3 or fewer arrests | Keep heat under control | No |
| Mission 28 choice | Not mentioned | Pick “Solidarity” when the principal catches Axel | No achievement, but reported as the major decision point |
| Final performance | Not mentioned | Hit the rhythm notes cleanly | Plausible — the finale uses the Music-class rhythm system |
The verifiable core: Steam lists exactly 11 achievements, and the only ending-related ones are “Ashley’s sweet boy Sam” and “Chloe’s little guitar hero” — one per prom date. No achievement references GPA, arrests, or attendance. That means the hard branch the game tracks is your prom partner choice — compared route by route in our Ashley vs Chloe guide — and the legend-vs-disaster framing on top of it is either scripted, or driven by hidden checks that no one has documented convincingly yet (verify in-game).
The safe checklist (covers every reported version)
If you want the School Legends outcome on your first run, play as if the strictest version were true. None of these hurt you even if they turn out to be cosmetic:
- Attend at least half your weekday classes and pass the five class minigames (English, Math, Geography, German, Music). This also keeps allowance money flowing.
- Keep your GPA at C / 2.5 or better. Farm the easier quizzes — English spelling and Geography map questions — if Math pressure spikes in Act 3.
- Build one romance consistently. Pick Ashley or Chloe early, clear her missions as they appear, and choose supportive dialogue options (verify in-game — dialogue weighting is community-reported).
- Stay out of handcuffs. Keep reported arrests to three or fewer; break line of sight using lockers, dumpsters, and countryside bike paths when heat rises.
- Complete side activities. All 15 if you want zero risk (you need them for the “Hard worker” achievement anyway); 10 is the lowest reported bar.
- In Mission 28, stand with your friends. When Principal Carpenter catches Axel, pick the “Solidarity” option, not self-preservation (verify in-game).
- Practice the rhythm game before prom. The final performance is a harder version of Music class — see the band page. Learn the timing; mashing reportedly feeds the failure cutscene.
- Manual save before the prom date choice. This protects your run and lets you grab the second ending achievement afterwards — saves page has the details.
Act-by-act context for where these beats land is in the full 32-mission walkthrough.
How players reportedly trigger Crash and Burn
For completion’s sake (or if you want to see the disaster on purpose): skip classes constantly, tank your GPA below the reported 1.5 floor, ignore side activities, neglect or sabotage the romance, rack up arrests, betray Axel in Mission 28, and flub the final performance. Multiple guides agree this combination produces the expulsion finale (verify in-game — you only need to fail some of these, not all).
Why the confusion exists
The game launched on 2026-08-12, review-bombed to Mostly Negative, and most guide sites raced out checklists before anyone had finished multiple runs. Early guides also named Lisa as the prom date for the good ending — but Lisa has no prom achievement and later guides walked that back; see the Lisa question in our characters guide. Until Refugium Games documents the ending logic or a patch clarifies it, treat any single-source checklist with suspicion. The prom date choice is the one branch you can bank on.

FAQ
Is School Legends an official ending name?
No — it is the community's name for the successful prom outcome. Steam achievements only name the Ashley and Chloe endings.
Do I really need a C GPA for the good ending?
It is reported by two walkthroughs but not confirmed by any achievement. Keep a C anyway; it costs little and rules out the risk (verify in-game).
What is the Mission 28 Solidarity choice?
One guide identifies Mission 28 (the principal catching Axel) as the key loyalty decision: protect yourself or stand with your friends. Choose Solidarity for the legend route (verify in-game).
Can I get School Legends with either girl?
Yes — the good outcome is reported on both the Ashley and Chloe routes. The date choice picks your ending cutscene; it does not force the disaster.
Did the first patch change the ending rules?
The launch patch focused on crash fixes (startup, tattoo shop on Steam Deck, cutscenes). No documented ending changes so far.
