Agefield High Characters — Sam Tatum, Kale Banes, Axel Filly
✔ Last checked: 2026-08-13
Four characters have been officially named so far: Sam Tatum (the playable new kid), Kale Banes (the guy with the plan), Axel Filly (the wannabe rockstar) and Ms. Wallace (the guidance counselor). Everything below comes from Refugium Games’ store copy, trailers and character posts — no leaks, no fan-wiki guesses.
The confirmed roster
| Character | Role | What official material says |
|---|---|---|
| Sam Tatum | Protagonist (playable) | 18-year-old senior; moves to Agefield with his mother and sister after his parents’ divorce, three months before graduation; described by the devs as an average guy dreading the new-school routine |
| Kale Banes | Best friend, mastermind | Meets Sam on day one; wants to leave Agefield High as a legend and recruits Sam for the Rock the School plan; press materials say he thinks college is for chumps |
| Axel Filly | The third man | A self-proclaimed rockstar, enlisted by Kale for the plan’s musical firepower |
| Ms. Wallace | Guidance counselor | Name-dropped in the Steam page’s own joke about the game’s crude humor — she’d “call it Tuesday” |
| The dream girl | Love interest | Real, central to the story — but unnamed in any official material so far |
The dynamic
The setup is pure 2002 multiplex: transfer student lands in a small town for senior year, falls in with two lovable idiots, and the trio decides graduation is their deadline for becoming legends. Trailers also show the classic antagonist food chain — jocks to fight, teachers to dodge, cops if things escalate — though none of those characters have been individually named yet.
Sam is customizable but not replaceable: hairstyles, outfits, accessories and tattoos are all shoppable in-game, so your Sam can look like he shops at the mall’s edgy kiosk. What you can’t do is swap protagonists — see the FAQ for the play-as-a-girl question in full.
Who’s still missing
The game released on August 12, 2026, so the full cast is now in players’ hands — but none of it appeared in pre-release material, and we don’t print names we can’t source. Still unsourced as of August 13: the dream girl, the jock antagonists, the teachers for the five class types, and Kale and Axel’s families, if any. We’re filling these in as they can be verified against the game itself rather than guessed.
This is the deliberate part: a wiki that guesses on day one is wrong on day two. We’ll expand this table only as names can be attributed to the game itself or to official material — not to forum chatter. If you’ve played and can point us at a specific in-game source, that’s how this page grows.

FAQ
Who do you play as in Agefield High: Rock the School?
Sam Tatum, an 18-year-old senior who moves to Agefield with his mother and sister after his parents' divorce, three months before graduation. He's the only playable character.
Can you play as a girl in Agefield High?
No. The protagonist is fixed — you play Sam. You can customize his outfits, hairstyle and tattoos, but there is no character creator or female protagonist option.
Who is the dream girl in Agefield High?
She was never named in official pre-release material — Steam only says you'll 'win over your dream girl.' The game is out now, so her name is visible to anyone playing; we'll add it here once we can source it from the game itself rather than guess.
Who are the voice actors in Agefield High?
No cast list has been published. English is the only full-audio language, so there is voice acting — the credits just aren't public yet. The in-game credits roll should settle this once players reach it.
