Agefield High Missions — How the 32-Mission Story Works
✔ Last checked: 2026-08-30
32 missions, one school year, two ways it ends. This page is about the shape of that structure — not a walkthrough, because we don’t publish mission-by-mission solutions we haven’t verified in the game.
✅ Confirmed: 32 main missions, a prom finale with a meaningful choice, two endings, roughly 8–10 hours.
🔄 Not confirmed: individual mission names and objectives, whether side content exists, whether missions can be replayed or failed outright.
The three-beat plan
The story trailer lays out Kale Banes’ scheme in the shape every teen comedy of this era used:
- Settle the score with the jocks
- Throw the party Agefield will never forget
- Get the girl and rock the prom
Thirty-two missions across three acts works out at roughly ten or eleven missions a beat — a comfortable rhythm for an 8–10 hour game, and consistent with the mission-based-life-sim label rather than the open-world one people expected. Our Bully comparison covers why that distinction disappointed a specific group of buyers.
Why “32 missions” is the most useful number on the store page
It tells you more about the experience than the hour count does.
The map serves the missions. In an open-world game, missions are events you find inside a world. Here it’s inverted: the missions are the game, and Agefield exists to stage them. You won’t wander off and lose four hours to something unrelated, because there isn’t an unrelated something.
Progress is legible. A mission counter means you always know roughly where you are in the story — unusual for life sims, which often leave you unsure whether you’re a third or two-thirds through.
The ending is a real ending. 32 missions and then a decision. No live-service tail, no post-game grind. See how long is it for what that means for value.
The prom, and the one piece of advice we’re confident in
The final beat is the prom, and the store page describes the choice there as genuinely consequential — it’s what produces the two endings.
So: make a save before that decision if the game lets you. With 11 achievements across a two-branch ending, one well-placed save is the difference between seeing both endings in ten minutes and replaying 32 missions to see the other one. Details on the saves page, and both routes compared in the Ashley vs Chloe endings guide.
What can go wrong, and it isn’t the missions
Worth flagging honestly because it’s the thing most likely to interrupt a run: the game’s reported problems are crashes and stutter, not mission design. Reviewers who reached the story missions tend to rate them as the good part — several positive reviews single out the main missions specifically as what works.
If your run breaks, in other words, it will probably break for technical reasons rather than because a mission is impossible. Which is a strange kind of good news: the patchable problems are the ones standing between this game and the reception it wanted.
What we’d add if we could source it
- The 32 mission names and their act divisions
- Whether side content exists outside the main line
- Whether mission select / replay is available after finishing
- Which missions contain the music minigames
- Whether any mission is missable in a way that locks an achievement
We won’t fill these in from other guide sites or by inference. If you’ve played through and can point at the in-game mission list, the footer email gets read.
In the meantime, we maintain a separate, clearly-labelled community-reported version: the all 32 main missions walkthrough, with act-by-act tips and every unverified title flagged.
FAQ
How many missions are in Agefield High?
32 main missions, confirmed in the official store material. They carry the story from the start of senior year to the prom finale, where a player decision splits the game into two endings.
Are there side missions?
Official material specifies 32 main missions but doesn't confirm a separate side-quest system. Whether optional content exists alongside the main line isn't documented, and we won't assume it does.
Can you replay individual missions?
Not confirmed. Mission-select is common in mission-based games but wasn't announced here. If it exists it would materially change how you chase the 11 achievements.
Can you fail a mission?
Not documented. What we do know is that the music minigames could be failed — the August 13 patch made them 'easier to pass' — so at least some mission content has a pass/fail state.
